Sharon Gagne was introduced to me over the net through our mutual friend, Jim Robertson, otherwise known
to us as "Mr. Jim". Some time ago he forwarded on to me some of Sharon's pictures. I thought they were
great and decided to make contact with her. She and her husband now live on Charleston Lake up near Webster's Bay.
They recently moved from Red Horse Lake. I first added some of her photographs in 2005, I think it was, and have now
in June of 2008, added new ones.
By way of introduction to Sharon and her beautiful photography, I am just going to use her own words, so here goes:
"About myself?
I am a retired Registered nurse, married to a retired OPP Sgt.
My husband grew up on Charleston Lake and was most anxious to
return. We had an opportunity to do so several years ago!
I have always been interested in the arts, and took water colour and
oil painting classes for several years.
The discovery of computers and digital cameras was a sheer delight
for me.
I love nature, water, wildlife..and my ultimate goal is to capture
these images to the best of my ability.
Charleston Lake has proven to be a treasure chest of delightful, humorous,
and most often ..breathtaking images.
I feel abundantly blessed to be able to experience this lake on a
year round basis."
